I’m back, and so tired. So I’m going to watch this and then sleep for a thousand years. I’ll do a proper post later :)
persepolis

Persepolis: Watch it, watch it, watch it. It’s based on a graphic novel of the same name, which I might have to purchase at some point…
(My internet connection is really dying at the moment – it makes me wonder how I ever lived without it)
hello again

Phew – my history coursework is finally out of the way!
I didn’t want to completely abandon you, so until I can get another post together, here are a few photographs I’ve been admiring lately. By the way, last night I finally got to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and everyone is right – it’s brilliant. If you haven’t seen it, go here for a few stills, and then go see it for yourself.

I finally feel Christmassy. Why? I’ve just watched (and promptly decided I really do need the DVD) Love Actually. I can’t help it. I just LOVE any film with Hugh Grant in. Shallow? Sentimental? Just a bit silly? Who cares, this is Hugh Grant we’re talking about.
from out of space

Last night I went to see the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. It wasn’t brilliant, but enjoyable nonetheless. I remember watching the original on tele years ago, which I liked. I love this poster for it. So pulpy. If that’s a word.
lost in translation
This is one of my favourite films ever. It’s so beautiful and.. quiet. Some people complain that nothing really happens in it, but I like that. Things do happen, but they’re subtle. Plus, I adore Scarlett Johansson, and I think she’s at her absolute best in this film. Natural and gorgeous.

Sorry for the rubbish posts lately. I promise I’ll come up with something good, when I’m less busy… But for now, quick posts are all you’re getting! :)
