frozen
This frosty weather makes for achingly beautiful landscapes, but my goodness, it also makes for achingly cold walks home in the foggy darkness. Tonight I have twice only narrowly avoided being run over, and my face feels frozen solid. I didn’t get the chance to take any more photos today, but I’m hoping it’ll be just as frosty tomorrow. Everything is so astonishingly white, and this holds huge novelty when you live in England!
Continuing the theme, here’s a few very cool white photographs I’ve had saved on my computer for a while.

so this is the new year
It’s lovely to be back; I’ve missed this blog more than I thought I would. Thank you so much for all your kind comments, and I hope you’ve all had a brilliant Christmas and New Year. While we’ve had no snow here, this morning everything was covered in a thick layer of frost, which is just as beautiful. It does especially wonderful things to spiders’ webs.
