Phew – my history coursework is finally out of the way!
I didn’t want to completely abandon you, so until I can get another post together, here are a few photographs I’ve been admiring lately. By the way, last night I finally got to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and everyone is right – it’s brilliant. These are really beautiful, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw them was this portrait by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Flora. The Roman god of wind fell in love with her and made her the goddess of flowers and spring. Aww. It’s a very clever portrait, but I don’t particularly like it. The second one is a much nicer one of her.
