Phew – my history coursework is finally out of the way!

I didn’t want to completely abandon you, so until I can get another post together, here are a few photographs I’ve been admiring lately. By the way, last night I finally got to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and everyone is right – it’s brilliant. If you haven’t seen it, go here for a few stills, and then go see it for yourself.

Keep checking Fishing For Beautiful  – I’ll be doing my main posts there all this week, as well as some smaller posts here. I’ve got a few things lined up, including a couple more portraits of this lovely girl looking, well, rather lovely.

These are really beautiful, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw them was this portrait by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Flora. The Roman god of wind fell in love with her and made her the goddess of flowers and spring. Aww. It’s a very clever portrait, but I don’t particularly like it. The second one is a much nicer one of her.
